Ellen Lupton, graphic designer, director of the MFA program in graphic design at Maryland Institute College of Art, and curator of contemporary design at Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, draws from her books, including D.I.Y.: Design It Yourself, to demonstrate ways to incorporate design in everyday life.
