Design for Good + ART STUDIO MIAMI
A call for more good where creativity, ingenuity, innovation is born.

Through AIGA Miami’s Design For Good initiative, we had a Mural Day event that supported design basic education for at-risk students ranging from 12-18 years old.

This initiative was facilitated by Art Studio Miami, a local Miami non-profit which empowers young minds by providing a safe location where youth are inspired and guided by artists, teachers and professional mentors who support the students’ education and career development through the integration of creative holistic arts.

Design learning with fun, indulgence, exploration and passion was the goal for our Mural Day Event. Art Studio Miami students were mentored by Gabriel Gimenez, better known as GG, one of the youngest self-made artists residing in Miami.

The mural day was a great opportunity for our creative community to work together and collaborate with others.

We would like to thank our partners and supporters of the event for helping in the creation of the mural. Our special thanks to Green Tea Films for helping us see through their lens – allowing the world to see what is not visible for many.
