Wolfsonian Guided Tour Julius Klinger: Posters for a Modern Age

On Friday, November 10, AIGA Miami in collaboration with the Wolfsonian hosted a guided tour of their new exhibition, titled Julius Klinger: Posters for a Modern Age. Led by Jonathan Mogul, director of curatorial and educational affairs at the Wolfsonian, the tour explored the body of work of the lauded Julius Klinger, ranging from politically-charged posters to cathartic illustrative designs.

For the handful of people lucky enough to snag a ticket for the intimate gathering, they were treated to a retrospective of one of the foremost European artists of the 20th century before winding down the night at the Wolfsonian café to reflect on the noteworthy collection. Klinger’s work remains as influential as ever to aspiring designers with his masterful balance of both practical, utilitarian designs and creative compositions. For all those still interested, the exhibit will remain open through April 29th.

And as always, thanks to everyone who came out that night!
