Art Vessel Film Screening

Join us for a screening of the documentary film Art Vessel and a conversation with its Emmy-winning producers Mateo Vengoechea and Gabriel “GG” Gimenez! On Sunday, February 24 at Gramps in Wynwood, Mateo and GG will intro their “no-budget” award-winning film and provide insights into their creative process before the 22-minute screening, and then take time for audience Q&As. GG is a longtime friend of AIGA Miami and has collaborated with us in the past, so we’re excited for this new chapter in his story.

ABOUT THE FILM
Made in Miami by a local, tight-knit crew of five filmmakers, Art Vessel captures South Florida’s unique growth as an international art capital. The team interviewed renowned local artists, international gallery owners, and New York moguls to illustrate the effect homegrown and international art have on Wynwood, Miami, Art Basel, and South Florida’s citizens.

Art Vessel won a  2018 Suncoast Regional EMMY and received the prestigious honor in the “Documentary - Cultural” category after its TV airing in South Florida through PBS affiliates.
